What We Do

Empowering our Community

Our Goal is to Bring People Together

CREW is a public charity nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to collaborate with public and private organizations in our communities to advance education and wellness.  Our aim is to provide facilities, programs, and services that cultivate healthy minds, bodies, and spirits in our community.

CREW’s historic Triplett School in Mount Jackson will offer to the community cultural and performing arts, recreation and fitness, the Rotary Learning Lab and more!

We welcome the support of businesses, organizations, and individuals with a passion for generational health and well-being in Shenandoah County.

Our Mission

Empowering our community to live better longer.

Our History

Established in March 2023 as a 501 (c)(3) public charity, CREW’s mission is to fill the void and bridge the divide for Shenandoah County’s community health and quality of life challenges that are prevalent to rural areas. A population of 44,000 is spread over 500 square miles leaving many without access to education and wellness programs. CREW will serve and achieve the economies of scale needed to operate facilities with offering: health and wellness through indoor and outdoor recreation; meeting and learning spaces; cultural and arts performances; and activities characteristically found in urban areas.

Our Values

CREW promotes a faith-based culture that values: collaboration, friendliness, honesty, personal responsibility and respect.

Our Impact, Reach and Vision

We strengthen our community by providing a well-equipped facility with programs that educate and promote wellness.  One of our goals is to amplify the effectiveness of the community’s education and wellness providers, such as Valley Health, Shenandoah County Public Schools, Town of Mt. Jackson and County Parks & Recreation, through collaborative partnerships that will use CREW’s facilities and resources. We want to help create a healthier community and improve the quality of life through our facilities and programs.
